AHD is a hobby project made by one person. It collects nothing about you and loads nothing from other websites. This page lists the work of other people that is used in it, and under which licence.
Model credits
Every vehicle model in AHD is derived from a third-party model licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY-4.0).
CC-BY requires that credit is given, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes are indicated. All models here have been modified — see "What was changed" below. This file satisfies that requirement and must ship with the game in a place players can reach (credits screen, about box, or bundled text file).
Attribution data was read from each file's own asset.extras block, not transcribed by hand.

What was changed
CC-BY requires that modifications are indicated. Every model in assets\vehicles\ has been substantially modified from its source:
- Decimated from tens or hundreds of thousands of triangles to a 700–1,100 triangle budget, to match PS1-era hardware.
- Track geometry rebuilt — per-link track meshes deleted and replaced with a procedural extruded band.
- Materials collapsed to a single flat albedo. All PBR data (normal, metallic-roughness, specular-glossiness, ambient occlusion and emissive maps) discarded.
- Textures rebuilt — source maps downsampled into one 128×128 atlas per vehicle and quantised to a 16-colour palette.
- Rescaled, reoriented and re-pivoted to a common real-world-metres convention.
- Re-exported to
.glband to a custom.ahd.jsonruntime format. - Panzer IV (2026-09-30) — both Panzer IV models above were instead converted without decimation by
pixel/tools/pz4_convert.py(world transforms baked, re-oriented, rescaled to real-world metres, re-pivoted, split into named parts, the Ausf H's Schuerzen separable, its gun levelled and antenna removed) and rendered into pixel-art sprites (pixel/art/tanks, idstank/panzer-iv/andtank/panzer-iv-ns/). - BT-7 (2026-09-30) — converted without decimation by
pixel/tools/bt7_convert.py(world transforms baked, re-oriented, rescaled to the published length / width, re-pivoted, split into named parts, textures dropped) toassets\vehicles\bt-7.glband rendered into pixel-art sprites (pixel/art/tanks, idstank/bt-7/*) and the x-ray (pixel/art/xray/bt-7). It replaces the earlier primitive BT-7 proxy, which was built by hand and used no third-party model.
Note on the earlier Panzer IV
The previous Panzer IV model, "Panzer IV Medium Tank - Toshueyi" by Joanthan To (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/panzer-iv-medium-tank-toshueyi-14c74d148326448c8edb5fee81be3894, CC-BY-4.0), was replaced by the Ausf H model above on 2026-09-30 (its converted files are kept in assets\vehicles\_old\). It is still embedded in the older game\ahd-assets.js bundle used by the ?ps1 fallback until that bundle is rebuilt, so this credit stays until then.

Note on the original Tiger
An earlier Tiger model, "(PzKpfw VI) Tiger 1" by Tinus (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/pzkpfw-vi-tiger-1-dfd7156c43124d1c9ff77d895c647142), was licensed CC-BY-NC-4.0 (non-commercial only). It was removed from the project on 2026-07-25 and replaced with the CC-BY-4.0 model credited above. No part of it is used in any shipped asset.
